Sunday, September 6: We had a fantastic time with the volunteers, residents and staff at a water booth at the Rock ‘n' Roll Half Marathon. We passed out water to the runners and information about our own JCOC Angels race team.

We also need volunteers for similar race events on October 31 and March 21.  

September 25-27: we have a booth at the Neptune Festival. We will be selling water to attendees of the festival along with information about the JCOC. The weekend is broken down into two and a half hour shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  

If you are looking for a way to stay healthy and give back to your community come join one of our JCOC Angels race teams. We welcome all runners and walkers participating in any of the official Virginia Beach races. We will reimburse you for up to $100 of your registration fee based on the donations you are able to raise prior to the race. One supporter of the JCOC was able to raise $2,500 last year through her diligent fund raising efforts.

Monarch Bank's 8th Annual Golf Tournament

12:30 p.m. - Shotgun Start  
5:00 p.m. - Dinner and Awards 

Thanks to your generous support a portion of the proceeds from the 2008 Monarch Bank tournament were donated to the JCOC. Sign up again this year and support our mission.
